Congratulations to our Place Management and Leadership graduates. All graduations at Manchester Metropolitan University have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic; however, we are determined to celebrate the achievements of our graduates.

The COVID-19 eLearning course, exclusively for IPM members, has been developed with IPM Fellow and crowd science expert Professor Keith Still. 

Research from the Institute of Place Management shows that 96% of businesses in English town and city centres need government support in order to navigate COVID-19 and its impact on high streets.

In order to assist place managers who are responsible for supporting their cities and towns through the pandemic, the IPM has developed a Coronavirus Recovery Framework.

Work by IPM to understand the performance of Manchester’s district centres and make recommendations for future place management strategy has been recognised by the City Council.
