The IPM is looking for an experienced individual with knowledge of the place management sector to join its growing team.
The new Development Manager with work to identify funding and project opportunities, to maximise IPM's ability to serve a bigger community of members, attract income, undertake high quality research and exploit research outcomes, maximising the project legacy of the High Streets Task Force.
The postholder will also increase the value and impact IPM has across the university, through engaging more effectively with other departments, professionally accrediting courses and supporting the RISE agenda with live place projects, for example. This will ensure that IPM continues to grow and contributes effectively to Manchester Met's 2030 vision and strategy.

There will be a considerable sales function to the role, so the ideal candidate must be genuinely interested in members and passionate about the role the IPM has in the professionalisation of the place management sector. You must also be comfortable with new product development processes – and turning research into understandable products and services that meet real-world needs.
